Poems and things: Following the success of the Birds in Three Dimensions and Exploding Poetry  projects (see Music for Words for more details) I have produced the music for two new projects premiered at this year's Off the Shelf festival - Goat Boy and Other Journeys, a collaboration with Linda Lee Welch, Fay Musselwhite and Susannah Gent, and Words in Pixels, an installation based on work by young writers in South Yorkshire. I am currently reworking some of the themes from these projects into a recorded format - watch this space for further information.

Toulouse Lautrec: In May 2011 I was commissioned to produce and perform the music for a live interactive exhibition La Nuit de Musees, at the Toulouse Lautrec Museum in Albi, France, working with installation artists Brook and Black, poet Matt Black and writer and artist Vicky Morris.

Me playing records: I now have a regular monthly show on Purple Radio (7-9pm on Thursdays) and have recently appeared at the Big Chill Bars in London and Bristol and 'Sunday Service' in York, as well as a new Sunday afternoon session at the White Lion in Sheffield - check the Calendar page for current gig listings.

Animat latest: The second full-length Animat album Imagining Ghosts was released on the Big Chill label in June and we have recently completed remixes for Input Junkie, The Beaufort Scale and DF Tram & Turning Point. We have been performing our live soundtrack to The Last Man on Earth at UK cinemas and festivals over the summer and autumn and are currently developing new soundtrack projects for 2012.
